I absolutely loved photographing this Halliford Mere Lakes Wedding! My style of wedding photography is not only relaxed, natural & fresh but I love working with natural light too, so this wedding venue was an absolute dream for me! I’ve selected some of my favourite photos from the day to share with you all.
Outdoor Lakeside Ceremony
This gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony took place overlooking the lake. It was an incredibly beautiful and scenic wedding ceremony surrounded by the couples closest family and friends. Claire & her bridesmaids arrived via a golf cart which was super fun! This venue also has the option of arriving via a boat!
Lakeside Marquee Wedding
The wedding marquee was set up a short walk away from the wedding ceremony space overlooking another section of the lake. Claire and Pete went with a pink theme for their wedding details and decorated their marquee beautifully.
Lakeside Wedding Portraits
The grounds at Halliford Mere Lakes are beautiful, so there’s plenty of space for the different parts of your day along with endless areas for wedding photos too. You’ll be spoilt for choice! We chose to have a little stroll together whilst guests headed over to the marquee, we chose a few areas to photograph couple portraits including next to the lake and along beautiful green walkways. I love the photographs we got, I think Claire & Pete look beautiful and so happy and relaxed!
Halliford Mere Lakes Outdoor Reception
I loved the evening lighting that adorned the marquee, it created a lovely atmosphere for the evening reception, along with the fire pit helping to keep guests warm.

Weddings can only legally take place outside if they are under a permanent structure with a solid roof. So you can marry under a gazebo, but a temporary structure like a marquee is not allowed. There are many petitions calling for a change to allow outdoor weddings in the UK.
