The Walled Garden Wedding Photographer
I love photographing weddings in a natural, relaxed style, and this is perfect for a bohemian wedding like this outdoor summer wedding at The Walled Garden at Beeston Fields. There are so many beautiful spots around this Nottingham wedding venue it’s a perfect location for me to capture lots of beautiful portraits and relaxed photos of your guests socialising and chatting whilst basking in the sun light!
I had met Faye through a mutual friend and had been told how chilled out she was – they weren’t wrong! Faye was completely relaxed the morning of the wedding and remained this way throughout. It was such a pleasure to photograph her super chilled out wedding day.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place outside in the garden under the loggia which created a beautiful back drop. Faye walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of Beyoncé ‘Runni’ and they walked back to Sexual Healing by Hot 8 Brass Band – which I absolutely loved!
For dinner they had a relaxed informal meal where guests helped themselves. The wedding cake was made by Elle Jane along with a selection of patisserie items for guests to help themselves to after meal, they went down a treat!
Faye looked effortlessly stunning wearing a bohemian Kimono dress by Ru de Seine
They were so lucky with the weather on the day which meant the sides of the marquee were raised creating a large open plan space. Faye & Oli said it felt like we were at home in the garden surrounded by family and friends. It was that chilled some of the guests even had siestas on the grass!
The funniest part of the day was watching everyone trying to climb onto Benedict the plastic zebra! It made for a great photo opportunity and was hilarious watching people trying to mount him throughout the day.
