Fun & Relaxed Wedding Photographer
I love photographing fun weddings and capturing real moments of the bride and groom enjoying themselves. This rock and roll wedding at The Pheasantry Brewery was perfect for this! With loads of outside space I can photograph lots of natural moments. I loved the festival theme and the bell tents provided an awesome backdrop for some fun wedding portraits and creative smoke bomb photographs! This Pheasantry Brewery Wedding is also full of DIY Inspiration and festival themed wedding ideas to help you plan your own rock n roll wedding!
Rock n Roll Festival Wedding
Kirsty & Ben’s rock n roll wedding was so much fun to photograph! These guys love their music so decided on a festival wedding theme for their big day at The Pheasantry Brewery. As someone who grew up going to Glastonbury festival this really was a wedding after my own heart! I was super happy when they asked to book me as their photographer.
Rock n Roll Bride Styling
These two are super cool and so, so lovely. From Kirsty’s beyond incredible gold platform bridal shoes to the French Bulldog’s dapper wedding outfit, the styling at this wedding was so unique and epically cool! I especially loved kirsty’s three piece wedding outfit; A white leather crop top, jacket and shorts that were designed specifically for her by the wonderful people at One BC in Nottingham!
Pheasantry Brewery Wedding Venue
The Pheasantry Brewery is a modern, yet traditional micro-brewery and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. This Brewery wedding venue is available to exclusively hire for your weddings day. They can host up to 130 wedding guests in the day and up to 200+ for the evening celebration. They also allow fireworks and confetti.
The happy couple had gone all out on their details for their day. They’d made a “Til Death Fest” sign that guided wedding guests around the site and spent months collecting empty spirit bottles and skulls to dot around the venue. It all looked brilliant.
The Pheasantry Brewery Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
Anyone that knows me knows how much I love an outdoor wedding ceremony! The Phesentary Brewery is the perfect wedding venue to host your outdoor ceremony. I love working with natural light and shooting outside often gives me the space to capture the natural reactions of wedding guests – something I love to do!
The wedding vows typically take place under the wooden gazebo at the end of the aisle. This gazebo makes for a lovely focal point to your outdoor wedding ceremony and means that your outdoor wedding is legal in the UK 🙂
Rock n Roll Wedding Portraits
Following their outdoor ceremony we decided to get creative and shoot some couple portraits and even threw in a few smoke bombs! We used the glamping tipis as a backdrop and then the two of them just had fun in front of the camera. They’re both naturals!
There was no shortage of great photo locations at The Pheasantry Brewery. We went off to explore and really made the most of the location before I whisked them back to their wedding guests. Family and friends were having an absolute ball as they sampled the ale on offer!
DIY Wedding Styling with a Rock n Roll twist
This super cool couple decided to create their own DIY music inspired seating plan. Each table was named after some of their favourite rock n roll artists and included the likes of David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones! They even had a life sized cardboard cut out of Aerosmith!
The lovely Kirsty and Ben are good friends with Imogen and Steve whose wedding I photographed in Vegas. If you’ve enjoyed looking through these photos you can check out Imogen and Steve’s wedding day here: Las Vegas Desert Wedding (also featuring a super cool smoke bomb shoot!) It was actually thanks to that Vegas bash that Kirsty & Ben decided to hire me as their wedding photographer!
Kirsty and Ben, I know that you guys spent so much time planning the perfect day and what a wedding it was! Thank you for booking me as your photographer 🙂
