Overgrown Acres is ideal for couples in the Nottingham area wanting to create that perfect festival wedding vibe. It features a large three-structure tipi for your reception and a beautiful outdoor ceremony area. This area comes complete with seating options like traditional chairs or hay bales for guests, and a lovely wooden pagoda that can be decorated to suit your theme. For Jayne & Russel’s wedding, they worked with Running Wild Flowers to adorn the pagoda in breathtaking florals, adding a magical touch to the ceremony.

The heart of the East Midlands tipi wedding experience at Overgrown Acres is its permanent three-structure tipi. This setup offers plenty of space for dining, dancing, and celebrating, with lots of versatility to suit your needs. Jayne & Russel arranged the front two tipis for their seating area and left the back space open for the dance floor. If you’re worried about the weather, no need—the tipi is large enough to host both the ceremony and reception indoors if necessary, ensuring your day goes off without a hitch, rain or shine!

What if it rains at Overgrown Acres?
The 3 tipis at Overgrown Acres are designed to keep cool in the summer and stay completely dry if it rains. There’s also an option to have a full panoramic window across the front two tipis, which can quickly be lifted up or down. Outdoor ceremonies can also be moved inside the tipi to the dance floor area.
Are there heaters at Overgrown Acres?
Yes Overgrown Acres provides a heater for the tipis, along with a standby generator too.
How many guests can attend a wedding at Overgrown Acres?
The 3 tipis can accommodate 150 people for the dinner & up to 200 for the evening.
Are guests allowed to camp at Overgrown Acres?
